A do-not-resuscitate order placed in a persons medical record by a doctor informs medical staff that Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) should not be attempted. Make sure you or your loved one are wearing a medical alert wristband in case of an emergency! Be safe in the knowledge that you or your loved one can get the appropriate treatment should something happen.
